HSR Staff

The first difference you will notice at Hale Scout Reservation is the staff. You asked for an older mature staff to give better guidance to the scouts and we listened. The majority of our Staff are of college age. Because we feel that an older staff is more experienced and can be better instructors and role models for your scouts.

Involvement is another notable difference of our staff. Each staff member is personally committed to helping each scout develop in scouting. Whether teaching a merit badge, leading an activity or working all week to help a scout learn a simple skill, we believe that one-on-one interaction and treating each scout as an individual is the most rewarding policy for campers and staff.
